According to Fort Lauderdale Police, at around 5 a.m., a woman who was covered in blood ran to a neighbor’s house.

Police said the suspect then barricaded himself inside a home.
During the incident, officers used explosives to breach the front door, and the suspect was taken into custody through the back of the home.
