Aaron Rodgers is sharing a rare personal update.
The NFL star revealed he has reconnected with his estranged family for the first time in more than a decade, posting Instagram photos with his mother, Darla Rodgers, father, Ed Rodgers, brother, Luke Rodgers and his niece and nephew.

“Another bonding week. #fam,” he captioned the post. His younger brother Jordan was not included in any of the images.
The Rodgers family rift has been public for years.
It first drew national attention in 2016 when Jordan appeared on season 12 of “The Bachelorette,” where he told JoJo Fletcher, whom he later married in 2022 and welcomed daughter Romy with in 2025, that he and Aaron were not close. Jordan went on to say during the season that “the relationship is complicated.”
Their father, Ed Rodgers, echoed that sentiment in a 2017 interview with The New York Times, saying Aaron had not spoken to the family since the end of 2014. That period coincided with the start of Aaron’s relationship with actress Olivia Munn, who dated him until 2017. Aaron later addressed the situation publicly, telling the public she was not responsible for the estrangement.
Aaron declined to comment for the 2017 Times story, but he has spoken about the feud in recent years, including in his 2024 Netflix docuseries, saying some of the tension stemmed from his parents’ strict religious beliefs and the pressure he felt growing up in a conservative household. He described the estrangement as painful but said he hoped for “healing” over time.

Aaron and Jordan’s brother, Luke, also commented on their family rift on “The Bachelorette.”
“It pains both of us, like, not to have that relationship [with Aaron] — we miss our brother,” Luke said. “I trust that God brings things full circle and that everything would just get back to us being a family.”
It’s unclear when the Rodgers family reunion took place, but the timing aligns with a major career moment for the quarterback, who announced earlier this year that the 2026 NFL season will be his last.
The photos mark the first public sign in more than a decade that Aaron has reestablished contact with his parents and siblings.
