A husband who fled to El Salvador after allegedly murdering his wife whose body was found at a Lake Worth Tri-Rail station back in 2023 has been returned to South Florida to face charges in her killing.

Jose Castellon Jimenez, 43, was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on Wednesday on a first-degree murder charge in the killing of his wife, 32-year-old Eullaia Castellon, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office officials said.
Eullaia Castellon had initially been the subject of a missing persons investigation before her body was found inside a parked car at the Tri-Rail station on Oct. 22, 2023.
Homicide detectives identified her husband as a suspect and the day of the murder learned he’d fled to El Salvador through Miami International Airport, authorities said.

Castellon Jimenez was located and arrested in El Salvador on April 25, 2024, and on Wednesday was extradited to Palm Beach.
