A months-long investigation into suspected drug trafficking ended with the arrest of a Hollywood man and the seizure of multiple drugs and more than $60,000 in cash, authorities said.

The investigation, led by detectives with the Hollywood Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit, brought officers and the SWAT Team to a home in the 1900 block of Adams Street on July 15.

Authorities said Amos Knight was taken into custody after officers secured and searched the home.

At the house, detectives “discovered trafficking amounts of drugs to include 391.3 grams Cocaine, 13.6 grams MDMA, 6.9 grams Oxy, 45.4 grams Alprazolam, 7.5 lbs. of Cannabis, and 14.5 grams Amphetamine,” the Hollywood Police Department said in a news release.

During the search, detectives also said they located more than $60,000 in cash.

As a result of the investigation, Knight was charged with “trafficking cocaine, MDMA, and amphetamines, and possession with intent to distribute oxycodone, alprazolam, and cannabis.”

Knight was booked into jail.
