Surveillance video captured how a kidnapping case ended in a chase and rollover crash in Northwest Miami-Dade on Wednesday, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

FHP said troopers responded to the area of Northwest 22nd Avenue and 103rd Street in search of a red Dodge pickup truck that was involved in a kidnapping incident.
Troopers found the vehicle and tried to pull it over, but the driver took off and led a short pursuit, FHP said.
The chase ended when troopers performed a PIT maneuver near Northwest 18th Avenue and Northwest 86th Street.
In the video, the pickup skids out and hits a stop sign from the side. The car overturns, and the impact appears to launch a man out of the vehicle as patrol cars with flashing lights roll up right behind him.

Then, the man gets up, walks around, puts his hands up and eventually steps out of the street before officers close in on him.
Authorities said “the subject was apprehended and the victim was recovered without further incident.”
It was not immediately clear if anyone was injured.
