Police in Lauderhill have arrested a man who they say used social media to sexually exploit at least six children in multiple states.

Keysean Mash, 23, was arrested on 27 felony charges including possession of child pornography, computer pornography, harmful communication to a minor, transmission of material harmful to a minor, lewd or lascivious exhibition using a computer and solicitation of a child to engage in unlawful sexual conduct, Lauderhill Police said Tuesday.
The investigation began in April after the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children forwarded a CyberTip generated by Snapchat regarding suspected child sexual abuse material uploaded through one of its user accounts, police said.
Investigators linked the account to Mash and executed multiple search warrants before identifying six juvenile victims from multiple states who’d communicated with Mash on social media, officials said.

Mash allegedly used online messaging apps to engage the victims in sexually explicit conversations, solicit sexually explicit images and videos, transmit harmful material to children, and possess child sexual abuse material, police said.
Police arrested Mash on Monday and he was booked into jail. He was expected to appear in bond court on Tuesday.
