A death investigation is underway in Southwest Miami-Dade on Monday after a body was found, deputies said.

According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived in the area of Southwest 162nd Avenue and 138th Terrace after receiving reports of an unresponsive person.

Deputies said when they found the man, fire rescue crews pronounced him dead.
His identity was not released.
The cause of death will now be determined by the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner.
