Dr. Leroy Wright, 46, was arrested Friday on charges including aggravated sexual conduct with a student by an authority figure, sexual activity with a minor, and obscene material/depicting a minor.

According to an arrest report, the teen boy told investigators that on at least three occasions, Wright hugged him, kissed him and touched him inappropriately.

One incident happened in Wright’s classroom and another happened as Wright was driving the student home from school, the report said.

According to the report, Wright said he was the sponsor of the school’s freshman club and the alleged victim was a member of the club.
