Jesus Thomas Max Horne, 36, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of written threats to kill or do bodily injury, Palm Beach County jail records showed.

According to an arrest affidavit, the investigation began after the FBI received notice from Meta about a threat made by an Instagram user indicating an intent to “shoot up houses and the Palm Beach County Courthouse.”

The threat was a video post in which the suspect, wearing a face covering with a “skull-like” design and dark latex gloves, was driving in a car as a text read “Forgive me lord, but I am going to shoot up couple of houses and the courthouse today!!! Idgaf,” the affidavit said.

Using the IP address and account details, as well as clues from the video, authorities identified the Instagram user as Horne, the affidavit said.
