A man accused of slapping a park ranger in the face in Fort Lauderdale was arrested on Tuesday, police said.

According to Fort Lauderdale Police, the man was sleeping at the beach, and he had been told several times in the past that he isn’t allowed to sleep on the beach overnight.

Police said the man started to become aggressive with the park ranger, and he slapped her in the face.

Officers were then called to the beach, and the man was arrested.
He was charged with battery.
