A man was stabbed in Lauderhill on Friday morning and police are still searching for a suspect, authorities said.

Lauderhill police said they responded to reports of a stabbing in the 2200 block of Northwest 58th Terrace at around 5 a.m., where they found a man suffering from lacerations.

The man was taken to Broward Health Medical Center with injuries described as not life-threatening.

According to police, the victim was cut with an unknown object, and the person responsible fled the scene.

“This appears to be an isolated incident, whereas the suspect and victim are known to each other, and there is no known threat to the public,” police said.
