A man fell victim to an armed robbery on Monday in Lauderhill that resulted in a stab wound, police said.

According to the Lauderhill Police Department, the man was approached by three unknown male suspects near the 4700 block of Northwest 19th Street at around 4 p.m.
One of the alleged robbers, armed with a knife, ended up assaulting the victim, police said. The suspects proceeded to steal the victim’s electric bicycle before fleeing the scene.
The victim has been transferred to a medical center for further treatment, police said. He suffered from a non-life-threatening laceration.
The Lauderhill Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division and Crime Scene Investigations arrived at the scene and are actively investigating the incident.
Detectives are looking for any witnesses or surveillance footage that could help identify the suspects.
