A South Florida woman was arrested after she pushed a 5-year-old child to the ground at a local park in Sunny Isles Beach last week, police said.

The alleged incident happened June 8 at Town Center Park on Collins Avenue near 172nd Street.

Police identified the woman as 43-year-old Natalia Hordiienko. Surveillance footage and an eyewitness report caught her in the act, an arrest report said.

The witness reported seeing the child’s grandmother and Hordiienko have a verbal confrontation after the push.

Police said Hordiienko confessed to the crime and is now facing child abuse charges.
