An investigation is underway in Sunrise on Saturday after a woman was struck by a vehicle, police said.

According to Sunrise Police, the woman was crossing the roadway when a gray SUV that was traveling westbound at the 10200 block of W. Commercial Boulevard hit her.

The woman was taken to the Broward Health Medical Center for treatment.
Her identity and condition were not released.
At the 10200 block of W. Commercial Blvd., a gray SUV traveling westbound struck an adult female pedestrian who was crossing the roadway. The pedestrian was transported to Broward Health Medical Center for treatment of her injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
