Police are investigating after a woman was struck and killed by a vehicle in Fort Lauderdale Monday night.

Fort Lauderdale Police said officers responded to the 1700 block of N. Federal Highway around 8:30 p.m. after the woman was struck.

She was taken to Broward General Hospital where she died from her injuries, police said. Her identity wasn’t released.
