A memorial of flowers, candles and photographs now sits in an alley outside Sandbar in Miami Beach, where a man was shot and killed last week.
Miami Beach Police have not publicly identified the victim, whose photos were placed at the memorial over the weekend.
Authorities have arrested 33-year-old Quayshawn West in connection with the shooting. West is charged with second-degree murder and appeared in bond court Sunday.
According to police, the shooting happened Friday near 67th Street and Collins Avenue.
Investigators say West and the victim got into an argument inside the bar. Both men were reportedly told to leave through separate exits, but somehow ended up in the same alley behind the business.
Surveillance video obtained by NBC6 shows a man police identify as the alleged gunman walking into the alley and out of frame. Moments later, another man walks into the alley.

Seconds later, two gunshots can be heard. The victim falls face down to the ground, while the suspect runs from the area.
About 30 seconds later, people nearby began screaming after realizing what had happened.
Police say they used surveillance cameras throughout the city to track West after the shooting. Investigators said they were able to match his clothing and sandals seen on video and later recovered the weapon they believe was used in the shooting.
A man who said he knows West expressed surprise over the allegations.
“But what I know about him, something’s wrong here. Something’s going to seem right and not adding up,” he said. “Because the guy just don’t go off like that. He don’t get in fights with him.”
The acquaintance also described West as quiet and someone who did not bother others.
