A student pilot and another person on board a plane are OK after it flipped over in Southwest Miami-Dade on Saturday, deputies said.

According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived at the Homestead General Aviation Airport after receiving reports of a plane crash.
At the scene, deputies met with two men who were inside the plane.
During their investigation, it was revealed that the pilot was landing the plane on the runway, and he said he pressed the brakes too hard, which caused the plane to flip over.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue arrived at the scene and treated the men for minor injuries.
